About the Role
LA Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Studio Counselor to drive membership growth and premium fitness program enrollment. This role combines sales, relationship building, and fitness consulting to help members achieve their health and wellness goals while introducing them to our newest offerings, including Pilates, the Glute Room, and LA Fitness memberships.
As a Studio Counselor, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting consultations, presenting fitness solutions, and creating an exceptional member experience that results in increased enrollment and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct membership consultations and facility tours for prospective members.
- Present and sell LA Fitness memberships, Pilates programs, and Glute Room memberships.
- Build relationships with current and prospective members through phone outreach, follow-ups, referrals, and in-club engagement.
- Identify member goals and recommend the best fitness solutions to meet their needs.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for tours, assessments, and program consultations.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, and sales activities.
- Participate in club marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and club sales goals.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while promoting a positive club culture.
Qualifications
- Previous sales, customer service, or fitness industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently present products and services.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with prospective members.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
