Duties

• Supervise children during scheduled activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
• Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
• Engage children in structured play, educational games, arts and crafts, and physical activities to support childhood development
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, or any concerns
• Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of child abuse or neglect and reporting appropriately
• Maintain a clean, organized activity space that adheres to health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm
• Familiarity with early childhood education practices and classroom experience is advantageous
• Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a positive environment for children
