We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help shape how complex, data-rich applications are tested and delivered. These applications help users explore challenging scenarios and make informed decisions—and your work will help ensure they perform reliably.
You’ll build test harnesses, develop mocking infrastructure, and bring testing into CI/CD pipelines across applications built with Java, Rust, and TypeScript/React. This is a hands-on role with room to influence testing practices, strengthen release confidence, and solve engineering problems beyond individual test cases.
What you’ll do
- Build and evolve test infrastructure that supports a growing production codebase.
- Develop test harnesses and mocking tools that make complex application behavior easier to validate.
- Design automated and manual testing strategies that uncover issues and improve reliability.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines so teams get useful feedback throughout development.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and end users to understand real-world workflows and translate them into meaningful tests.
- Shape maintainable testing practices that grow with the software.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience building test infrastructure, including mocking and CI/CD integration.
- Hands-on experience with software testing and test harness development.
- Experience designing automated and manual tests.
- Software development experience in Java, Rust, or TypeScript/React.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to turn technical concepts into usable software.
