Write the code that turns complex RF signals into actionable intelligence.
If you love the intersection of math, code, and real-world signals, this role puts you at the center of it. Develop advanced signal-processing algorithms, investigate challenging RF data, and take your work from simulation to real-time, high-performance production systems supporting mission-critical government programs.
What you’ll build and solve:
- Turn theory into working software. Research, design, and implement advanced DSP algorithms in C/C and Python for a variety of RF applications.
- Dig into complex signals. Perform RF signal and data analysis, reverse engineering, simulation, and modeling.
- Take algorithms into production. Support their transition into real-time computing environments where performance matters.
- Own technical challenges. Work as a principal investigator or collaborate as part of a small engineering team.
- Apply your specialty. Bring expertise in digital communications, detection and estimation, remote sensing, radar, adaptive antenna arrays, or navigation and geolocation.
What you’ll bring
- A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated scientific programming skills, ideally implementing signal-processing algorithms in C/C and Python.
- A strong background in one or more of the technical areas above.
- Preferably, 7 years of digital signal-processing experience.
Experience that stands out
- Algorithm development for defense programs.
- Linux and open-source toolchains.
- Software-defined radio, baseband or RF architecture, and wireless propagation or modeling.
- Communications protocols such as LTE, WCDMA, GSM, 802.11, or 802.16.
- Numerical linear algebra.
