Title: AI MOTION, ANIMATION, MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER

Reports to: DIR or AVP Design Studio

Location: Clearwater, Fl (NOC)

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Motion, Animation, & Multimedia Designer for our newly formed Design Studio. This important role is ideal for a seasoned creative professional with over 10 years of progressive experience, demonstrating a profound mastery in multimedia, animation, and motion graphics design. You will be responsible for setting the motion graphics and video creative vision and creating highly engaging and effective animated and video content that elevates our brand and captivates our audiences.

You are an expert in the leading software tools for multimedia creation and animation, capable of translating complex marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives across various digital platforms. Your leadership will inspire innovation, ensure the highest quality of output, and drive the strategic evolution of our animated content.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Strategic Direction:

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and production of all multimedia, animation, and motion graphics content, including explainer videos, branded templates, campaign animations, interactive elements, and visual effects.
• Develop and articulate a clear creative vision for animation and motion design projects, ensuring strict alignment with brand guidelines, marketing strategies, and overall business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Creative & Design Directors, Marketing, Digital Marketing, and cross-functional teams to translate complex concepts into visually compelling and engaging animated narratives.
• Provide expert creative direction and strategic input from ideation through final delivery, enhancing storytelling and production quality.
  
  

Advanced Design & Production Excellence

• Oversee the end-to-end production workflow, including script breakdowns, storyboarding, visual development, animation, editing, sound design integration, and final delivery for a wide array of platforms (e.g., social media, web, broadcast, digital campaigns).
• Ensure all multimedia content maintains the highest standards of visual tone, style, and quality, consistently reinforcing brand identity and engagement goals.
• Drive the exploration and implementation of advanced animation techniques, including 2D/3D modeling, character animation, visual effects, and interactive motion design.
  
  

Project & Workflow Management

• Manage multiple complex multimedia and animation projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints and meeting high expectations for quality and strategic impact.
• Develop accurate project estimates, timelines, and resource plans, and communicate regular status updates to key stakeholders, proactively addressing any potential challenges.
• With the Manager, Production/Trafficker, optimize and refine production workflows and processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and the speed-to-market for creative assets.
  
  

Technical Expertise & Innovation

• Possess and demonstrate expert-level proficiency with industry-leading software for animation and multimedia design, including:
• Adobe Creative Suite: Master-level command of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop for motion graphics, video editing, illustration, and image manipulation.
• 3D Software: Strong working knowledge and significant experience with 3D animation and modeling software such as Cinema 4D, Maya, or Blender.
• Continuously research and integrate new techniques, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge tools—including those enhanced by generative AI—to innovate our animation capabilities and enhance production efficiency.
• Advise on hardware, software, and workflow advancements to ensure the team remains at the forefront of multimedia and animation design.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related visual arts field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in multimedia design, animation, and motion graphics, with at least 3-5 years in a senior capacity.
• An outstanding professional portfolio/showreel showcasing extensive experience in creating captivating motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling across diverse media and platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with deep mastery of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Demonstrated strong working knowledge and practical experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Maya, or Blender).
• Profound understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, design elements, and best practices for both digital and broadcast media.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate creative teams, manage complex projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex creative concepts and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for visual innovation and continuous learning.
