Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Direct all aspects of the account(s) business, including sell-in, rigorous forecasting, and lifecycle management (launch to discontinuation).
- P&L & Financial Stewardship: Own the P&L for all sales and promotional activities; proactively manage trade spend to ensure maximum ROI and alignment with divisional profit objectives.
- Retailer Partnership & Influence: Act as the primary liaison for account(s) partners, cultivating deep relationships through strategic business reviews, daily operational excellence, and long-term joint business planning.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the central point of contact between Brand Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Retail Media to ensure flawless execution of launches and promotions.
- Merchandising & Innovation Excellence: Optimize planogram performance and influence fixture strategies; strategically pitch for high-visibility placements (front-of-store, endcaps, towers) to drive discovery of newness and "hero" franchises.
- Growth Levers & Loyalty: Design and implement high-impact promotional activities, including exclusive app offers, "tentpole" event activations, and Sephora Beauty Insider loyalty programs.
- Analytical Rigor: Transform complex data into actionable insights. Conduct exhaustive post-promotion analyses to refine sell-in/sell-thru strategies and provide high-level reporting to senior leadership.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 6–9 years of progressive sales and business management experience, specifically within the Beauty or Prestige Retail industry.
- Strategic Mindset: A proven track record of driving sustainable business growth and navigating complex, fast-paced retail environments.
- Negotiation & Influence: Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate for optimal brand visibility.
- Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in managing budgets, monthly forecasting, and competitive analysis to build a compelling "sell story."
- Customer-Centricity: A deep understanding of the Sephora "guest" journey; ability to translate consumer insights into products, messaging, and layouts that resonate with the Sephora community.
- Agility & Leadership: A self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, home-office environment while remaining a collaborative, cross-functional team player.
