The Head of Automation for Contract Logistics will be responsible for the overall warehouse automation program cross-vertically for the assigned continent/region. This person will work with both the continental teams and the country teams (within region) to deliver automation design, systems testing & validation, and automation operations support.
This role will most specifically service the continental teams in the delivery of highly-complex projects involving high levels of automation/mechanization from design through hypercare.

- Lead the regional automation strategy and roadmap, aligning initiatives with global priorities and business growth
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of automation programs, from opportunity identification and solution design through testing, deployment, and hypercare
- Partner with country, continental, and cross‑functional teams to integrate scalable automation solutions across operations
- Establish automation standards, governance, and best practices, while managing vendor strategy and solution performance
- Drive successful go‑lives, performance tracking, ROI realization, and continuous improvement of automation capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- 5-10 years’ experience leading large‑scale automation, digital transformation, or systems implementation programs in complex operational environments
- 2-5 years’ experience working in an international capacity with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared objectives
- Experience operating in matrixed, regional, or global organizations
- 5-10 years industry experience in Contract or 3rd party logistics
- 2-5 years expertise in fast moving Consumer Goods
- 2-5 years Pharmaceutical & Healthcare systems experience
- 2-5 years strong understanding of High-Tech solutions
- Strong commercial acumen - deep understanding of customer requirements, translated into the solutions and teams
