Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position
Performs primarily physician order transcription, clerical and reception duties, including coordinating activities in the nurses’ station, maintaining par level of supplies and equipment for the unit, and other related duties as required or instructed.
Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, required. Typing and computer keyboard skills highly recommended. Previous experience in transcribing physicians’ orders preferred. Minimum six (6) months experience in hospital setting or medical field with knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Requires successful completion of hospital orientation classes as well as full-time 6-week orientation/training on assigned unit.
Starting Hourly Rate $21.82
