Shift: Nights – 5x8 Hours (3:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Pay Rate: Up to $35.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining specimen integrity, and supporting laboratory operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures.
- Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
- Process and transport specimens according to established protocols.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory and clinical staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Phlebotomy experience.
- Current Washington Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (WA MAP) credential required at the time of submission.
- Current BLS certification required.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
