Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) | Columbus, OH

We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Travel PCU assignment in Columbus, OH.

Pay: $69/HR
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Hours (Day/Night or Rotating)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult patients requiring progressive or step-down level care.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer IV medications, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Float to similar acuity units as needed based on staffing requirements.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License (or Compact License if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step-Down experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with telemetry and acute care patients
• Epic experience preferred
