Job title: Virtualization Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Virtualization Engineer to manage and support our VMware vCenter environment across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The role focuses on VM provisioning, lifecycle management, performance monitoring, automation, and ensuring SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage VMware vCenter clusters, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
• Provision, optimize, and decommission virtual machines to ensure performance and capacity efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts or bots for VM provisioning, health checks, and routine maintenance.
• Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., vROPs, Newrelic) for proactive performance and capacity management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related incidents and support change implementations following ITIL best practices.
• Collaborate with Storage and Backup teams to ensure proper VM backups and disaster recovery strategies.
• Maintain documentation for virtual infrastructure, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure virtualization infrastructure complies with security standards and internal policies.
