Overview
Rocket Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from initiation to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with team members and suppliers. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, and inquiries.
- Maintain organized records of all orders, ensuring that documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Manage calendars for order deadlines and follow up with the sales department to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Proofread order details to ensure accuracy before processing.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to handle inquiries and support needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or challenges related to orders.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices including cleaning work area and inspection equipment.
- Pre-inspection of tooling
- Ability to multitask.
- Laser Etching of tooling
- Other tasks assigned
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and scheduling tasks efficiently.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure all documentation is accurate before submission.
- Experience in customer support roles will be considered an asset.
