What are the responsibilities and job description for the End User Support Specialist position at KTek Resourcing?
Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and manage Nexthink platform for endpoint monitoring and Digital Employee Experience (DEX).
- Monitor and analyze Windows, macOS, and VDI environments (Citrix/AWS Workspaces) using Nexthink insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and custom Nexthink queries (remote actions, campaigns, investigations).
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot endpoint performance, application, and user experience issues.
- Support VDI environments (Citrix/AWS Workspaces) by analyzing session performance and user experience issues.
- Develop and automate remediation actions using Nexthink remote actions and integrations.
- Collaborate with EUC, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve endpoint-related issues.
- Provide insights and reporting on device health, application performance, and user experience trends.
- Support Windows and macOS endpoint environments, ensuring visibility and performance optimization.
- Integrate Nexthink with enterprise tools such as SCCM, Intune, ServiceNow, or other ITSM platforms.
- Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and operational playbooks for Nexthink usage.
Experience & Requirements
- 4 years of experience in endpoint management, EUC, or digital workplace engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Nexthink platform (must have) including dashboards, remote actions, and investigations.
- Strong experience supporting Windows and macOS endpoints in enterprise environments.
- Experience working with VDI environments (Citrix and/or AWS Workspaces).
- Good understanding of endpoint performance monitoring and user experience analytics.
- Knowledge of enterprise tools such as SCCM, Intune, or ServiceNow (integration exposure preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint, application, and virtual environments.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) is preferred.
- Experience in incident analysis and proactive problem management.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
