Basic physical testing experience in a flooring production plant

Main duties and responsibilities
- Perform various tests and to analyze data to determine compliance to specified standards.
- Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment in the lab.
- Determine trends and present data to facility management in order to initiate appropriate action.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of associates
- Excellent attendance record
- Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving
- Intermediate computer skills including the ability to create and input data into a spreadsheet
- The ability to use power tools, measuring devices, and other hand tools
- The ability to read and comprehend complex testing data.
- The ability to perform basic preventive maintenance procedures.
- The ability to prepare and present reports to plant leadership.
- The ability to work with others in identifying and solving complex manufacturing problems
- The ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
- Knowledge of testing equipment and procedures
- Knowledge of quality standards and end user requirements
- Knowledge of flooring production and finishing processes
- Experience in quality inspection in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Associate's degree in a technical or business related field of study
