You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations in the region, from legal setup to the recruitment of staff, to day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our leadership team in Europe and report directly to the Managing Director, ensuring that we execute our expansion plan effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of the company's operations in the US, including legal registration, facilities setup, and hiring processes.
- Build and manage a local team, including recruiting, training, and developing the team.
- Oversee the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Maintain financial oversight, managing budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
- Report regularly to the MD on progression of projects and adherence to budgets.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a leadership role, in engineering and construction industry, with at least 10 years mechanical engineering experience.
- Experience in managing budgeting, project pipelines and engineering teams.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with local stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and vendors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, fluency in German would also be advantageous.
- Strong project management skills and experience overseeing complex projects.
