Responsibilties:
- Test Plan Development: Development and tracking of test plans in Jira dashboards
- Optimization of Test Suite: Review of the current Test Suite and System Requirements to develop Test Cases that will enable additional test coverage and more efficient testing.
- New Test Case Development: Development of specific test cases based on new functional and non-functional requirements.
- Test Execution (Bench or Vehicle): Based on scheduled Test Runs and Final Sign-Off (FSO) deadline dates on multiple vehicle programs, variants, and model years, testers will execute testing and report test results/issues on customer internal systems such as TestRail, Jira, and Confluence Wiki.
- Reporting: Reporting test results and defects/blockers and developing Jira Dashboards.
- Continuous Improvement: Proposals on how testing efficiency, insights, results, and deliverables could be improved.
- Strong experience in propulsion control systems (EV, HEV, ICE) and embedded software validation
- Hands-on experience with OTA testing and software deployment in automotive environments
- Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with HIL/SIL platforms (e.g., dSPACE, NI, ETAS) and tools like CANoe, MATLAB/Simulink, INCA
- Knowledge of control strategies for torque, energy, and thermal management
- Experience with test automation, scripting (Python, CAPL), and CI/CD tools
- Understanding of FSO principles, software lifecycle, and vehicle integration Bachelor’s or Master’s in Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
