Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test systems using NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and NI VeriStand.
- Automate test cases and generate detailed test reports for validation activities on NI HIL benches.
- Commission, configure, and validate NI HIL benches for testing electronic control units (ECUs) and powertrain systems.
- Execute validation and development activities aligned with DVP&R and customer functional objectives.
- Conduct validation and functional testing of power electronics and e-Powertrain systems.
- Recreate failure modes identified during validation or warranty claims and perform root cause analysis.
- Utilize Vector CANalyzer/CANoe tools for bench and vehicle-level testing.
- Develop and execute test cases using CAPL scripting and ensure compliance with CAN network protocols.
- Review system and software requirements to design comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Validate electronic systems and subsystems, ensuring robustness and reliability.
- Identify, analyze, and document issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Ensure all testing activities adhere to Verification & Validation (V&V) standards and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Must have experience:
- LabVIEW
- NI Veristand
- NI TestStand
- Powerelectronics / e-Powertrain
- Vector CANalyzer/ CANoe
- Python (any language which is supported by NI LabVIEW/Veristand)
- Experience in NI HIL bench commissioning, configuring and validating the test cases.
- Experience working in Powerelectronics / e-Powertrain.
- Experience in working with CANalyzer / Canoe for bench testing and vehicle testing
- Good understanding of Power electronics.
- Good knowledge in Testing IC Engine ECU using LabVIEW-Teststand on NI based HIL & Electric Vehicle function tests
- Knowledge of the CAN Network Protocols
- Knowledge of Validation & Verification process.
- Knowledge of CAPL.
- Experience in Validating electronic systems and subsystems.
- Conduct tests, recreate failure modes identified during validation testing, or warranty claims.
- Should be capable of reviewing the requirements and creating test cases or test scenarios.
- Able to identify, analyze and retrospect the issues
- Experience in automating test cases and generating reports.
- Automate test cases to validate the test cases on HIL bench and generate reports.
- Maintain lessons learned and actively participate in cross teams.
- Validation/development activities involving the targets and execution of customer functional objectives and DVP&R.
