- Build, Integrate and Validate Prototype/Mules
- Support mule vehicle builds by triaging propulsion system and related issues.
- Be the first Point of contact for any issues related to Powertrain.
- Defining containment actions – Interim as well as Long Term solutions for powertrain related issues
- Work with engineering teams from multiple engineering disciplines such as
- EE SWAT (Software Action Team)
- EOL (End of Line)
- PFDI (Physical and Functional Design & Integration)
- Technicians
- Battery Pack Team
- Solve complex vehicle problems to meet vehicle commissioning due dates.
- Test the builded Vehicles, validate and integrate,
- Work with EESWAT Wiring team and find the root cause of the issues and replace any component or missing parts in line with EESWAT team.
- Flash the latest Powertrain modules, Ensure the updated version is compliance with Calibration team.
- Commission the Vehicle as per Power train Modules defined task, ensure zero defect and high-quality testing, Work with BPCM team and find the root cause of any issues related to BEV.
- Determine any vehicle hurdles or unknown issues with the team and articulate the root cause, including mechanics related like WED's testing, shaft broken ..etc.
- Requirement and Scope of the work: All DT Vehicle fleet after production releases need Commission & Validation with software update and later Triaging the powertrain modules with completion of fleet to custodians.
- Major Powertrain Modules: Flashing on Modules like EVCU, BPCM, IDCM, MCPA, MCPB and MCPC, ECM, Compliance with Latest Software Level
- Activities: Flashing, checking all the Hardware related to Pwt, Validate the application, flash the required Software Level, and close the commissioning sheet. In case of any defect of Fleet, Triaging and articulating the right Calibration and DRE to be notified with CAN Logs
- After Fleet from Commissioned Vehicles, will support Reflashing & Triaging for All DT/WS variant fleets
- Perform Vehicle Bring-Up Activities: Power-modding checks, HV system readiness, cooling system checks, verifying communication between powertrain modules before initial vehicle starts.
- Validate HV Safety Systems: HVIL loop checks, contactor operation, insulation monitoring, and ensure all safety-critical powertrain components function correctly during commissioning.
- Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industry
- Understanding of BEV architecture and proper functioning of vehicle.
- CAN and UDS Protocol
- Problem solving and debugging skills.
- Hands on with CDA, Canalyzer, INCA
- Knowledge of MS-Office
- Experience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development, testing, and validation
- Knowledge and experience with Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid systems
- Master of Science degree or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred
- Working experience of Model Development is preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and specific simulation software is preferred
- Knowledge of Vehicle Systems Components is also preferred
- Experience of working within an AGILE or Scrum framework is preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity is preferred
- Strong understanding of the development of embedded software
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management
