Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources Leader will serve as the architect and driver of the Canopy A&D U.S. people strategy during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. This role is responsible for building a high-impact HR function that aligns with Canopy Aerospace & Defense’s mission, vision, and long-term strategic objectives. The HR Leader will oversee all core areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and culture. A key priority will be strengthening HR infrastructure and processes to support a multi-site aerospace and manufacturing environment. The role will also partner closely with the executive leadership team to support ongoing and future Mergers & Acquisitions activities—ensuring organizational readiness, cultural integration, workforce planning, and change management excellence.
Experience and professional qualifications required for the role.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, aerospace/defense, or industrial environments.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations and partnering with leaders across geographically dispersed locations.
- Strong background in building and administering systems and processes through an HRIS (UKG or similar platform)
