Production Manager
Eden Prairie, MN | Direct Hire | $70-80k | Day Shift (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)
Konik is partnering with a high-end custom fabrication and large-format production company to add a Production Manager to their team. This role is responsible for leading daily production operations across multiple shifts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bridge the gap between CNC technology and manual fabrication while building a high-performing, accountable team.
Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily production operations across day and second shift teams (15–20 employees total)
- Serve as a player-coach on the floor, learning and supporting all production processes to drive efficiency and quality
- Coordinate production schedules with project management to meet aggressive turnaround timelines
- Troubleshoot CNC cutting equipment and fabrication processes, including drag knife and oscillating knife systems
- Maintain and enforce quality standards aligned with high-end custom fabrication output
- Implement and uphold OSHA and internal safety protocols across the production floor
- Develop and manage production metrics, quotas, and performance expectations to improve throughput and profitability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and “tour-ready” production environment
- Train, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability and consistency
Production Manager Qualifications:
- 2 in production supervision or management
- Experience in large-format printing, POP display, or custom fabrication environments is preferred
- Direct experience with CNC cutting systems (Zund or similar preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret production drawings and technical specifications
- Hands-on experience with shop tools and fabrication processes (adhesives, cutting tools, assembly methods)
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
