Duties
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials within the warehouse and production areas
- Assist in mechanical assembly using hand tools and measuring instruments, interpreting technical drawings and production documents
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to support production line needs
- Follow safety standards in production environments, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions to enhance productivity
- Manage inventory levels, organize storage spaces, and ensure accurate stock movement within the warehouse
- Collaborate with production teams to meet daily targets while maintaining quality control and safety compliance
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with assembly lines, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings or manufacturing documents
- Proficiency with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and managing safety protocol adherence
- Experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manual handling tasks efficiently
