Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Associate located in Great Neck, NY. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial statements, recording journal entries, managing accounting software, and performing financial analyses. The role will also include reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and recording Journal Entries
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills and experience in Finance operations
- Proficiency with Accounting Software and general IT literacy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus
