We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrical Estimator to prepare bids and estimates for transmission, distribution, switchyard, and substation projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical cost estimates and bid packages
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Develop budgets and preconstruction schedules
- Solicit vendor quotes
- Prepare takeoffs, bid letters, and supporting documents
- Conduct site visits prior to bid
- Present bid materials for internal review
- Manage multiple bids at one time
Qualifications
- 5 years of electrical construction, design, finance, or related experience
- 2 years of project management knowledge or experience
- Estimating experience in transmission, distribution, switchyards, and substations
- Proficiency with Accubid / ConstructJobs or similar software
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organization skills
