We are hiring an Electrical Planning Foreman to join our VDC team and support preconstruction planning, shop drawings, and material takeoffs.
Responsibilities
- Review specifications, submittals, and drawings
- Produce buildable shop drawings and prefab details
- Read and verify wiring schematics
- Prepare schedules and worksheets in Excel
- Plan project routes, takeoffs, and details
- Coordinate with project teams and superintendents
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Support quality control and process improvement
Qualifications
- 2 years as a Journeyman Electrician
- Foreman experience or Electrical Detailer experience preferred
- Familiarity with BIM or Design-Build projects
- Basic Bluebeam skills
- Intermediate Word and Excel skills
- Advanced knowledge of NEC
- Strong plan-reading and scheduling communication skills
