Foreman
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Travel Required)
Pay: $26.00 - $38.50 per hour Overtime

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Assign daily work activities and communicate production goals and safety expectations
- Train, mentor, and support crew members in the field
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents
- Monitor daily progress and report completed work, delays, material shortages, and jobsite concerns
- Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate schedules and project activities
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining quality workmanship
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist with inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Crew Leader, or Construction Supervisor
- Strong commercial or industrial construction experience
- Experience with structural steel, steel erection, pre-engineered metal buildings, or metal stud framing
- Experience with mission critical projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety practices
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel as projects require
- Typical work week: 50-60 hours
