Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet visitors, clients, and vendors, and direct them to the appropriate staff or department
- Retrieve incoming and outgoing mail from the post office and distribute mail accordingly
- Perform assigned errands, including local deliveries, pickups, supply runs, and bank deposits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and reception area
- Provide general administrative support to office staff as needed
- Assist with scheduling, document handling, and basic clerical tasks
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Occasionally run errands locally as needed for the business using the company vehicle
Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative or front desk experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and customer-service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Basic computer skills, including email and office software
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Normal office working conditions
- Repetitive usage of keyboard and mouse
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 - 40 pounds as needed
- Ability to drive locally for errands and mail pickup
- Must work 5 days in the office
- Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
