What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Hedge Fund Accountant position at KNM Resources?
OVERVIEW: Our client provides fund accounting, administration, tax, compliance and middle office trade support services to hedge fund managers.
Responsibilities:
• review of investment positions and perform cash reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis
• review and/ or prepare NAV for funds; review and/or prepare fund allocations
• opportunity to take “oversight” position, occasionally reviewing fund reporting
• heavy interaction with the client; serve as primary representative for the team on client calls and meetings
• Hands on supervision of staff
• Participate in staff evaluations and new hire interviewing
• Manage daily client interaction, broker relationships, some operations (cash & trade breaks)
