What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis position at KNM Resources?
Responsible for managing the budgeting and forecasting processes and defining / supporting the analytical and reporting requirements. The role entails operational and strategic planning, worldwide consolidations, and internal financial reporting. Strong presentation requires as the person hired will have frequent interaction with all levels of management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of worldwide management reporting packages. Standardize and automate processes to gain efficiencies.
• Direct the development of the global annual operating plan, strategic plan and forecast.
• Support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in establishing the business planning and reporting functions, while working to integrate new reporting requirements.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for upper management to relay an understanding of business drivers and overall performance.
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators; identify opportunities for financial improvement
• Provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.
• Regular interaction and support to the CFO and worldwide Financial Leadership Team.
• Develop solid relationships with internal business partners and the finance group.
• Manage a team of professionals.
