What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at KNM Resources?
• Develop financial models, research and analyze trends, identify key insights
• Assist in the development of business cases related to various marketing programs and business strategies
• Partner with Marketing and Sales teams in developing forecasts and commercial P&L business plan and forecast updates
• Prepare ongoing Sales and P&L reporting (weekly sales reports, monthly results package, analysis of results) and commentary on variances against prior year, business plan, and forecast updates. Make recommendations to senior management in the sales and marketing organization.
• Partner with marketing, and sales teams in understanding key business drivers, profitability, volume trends, pricing, and areas of risk and opportunity
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sales data
• Responsible for leading the monthly financial close process for revenue & expenses. This includes revenue recognition adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, ensure proper reserve balances
• Partner with external auditors to review controls and support accounting methodologies
