Duties

• Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis.
• Develop and implement budgeting processes, financial forecasting models, and strategic planning frameworks to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
• Manage treasury functions such as investment management, liquidity planning, and risk analysis to optimize cash flow and fiscal stability.
• Conduct risk management assessments related to financial activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory reporting standards and internal controls.
• Provide leadership in financial report writing and interpretation for executive decision-making; communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Supervise compliance management efforts including governmental accounting standards, non-profit accounting practices (if applicable), and technical accounting issues like ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Oversee internal audits, balance sheet reconciliation processes, account analysis, and cost control initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and accountability.
• Support business development efforts by analyzing investment opportunities, evaluating profitability metrics such as profit & loss statements, and advising on cost management strategies.
• Utilize advanced financial software tools for data analysis, reporting automation, and maintaining comprehensive records of all financial transactions.

Experience

• Proven experience in senior financial management roles with extensive knowledge of IFRS, IAS, GAAP, and ASC 606 standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance, governmental accounting (if relevant), non-profit accounting practices, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong background in risk analysis, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning within complex organizational structures.
• Proficiency in technical accounting areas including accrual accounting, revenue management, cost control, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Experience with financial analysis tools and software packages that support comprehensive financial report writing and interpretation.
• Exceptional communication skills necessary for preparing detailed financial reports and presenting insights to senior leadership.
