What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at KNM Resources?
• Responsible for accounting transactions across multiple divisions
• Work with Corporate Controller on special projects
• Support accounting transactions across multiple divisions including Financial Planning and budgeting
• Assist with the accounting close and monthly, quarterly & annual forecast
• Primary contact for the communication of accounting related issues to senior manager and external auditors
• Manage a team of accountants, review their work and develop them to become future leaders of the company
• Take the initiative to identify and improve processes and policies
• Perform research of accounting treatments as needed
• Provide the necessary support for external audits
• Coordinate M&A transactions
