Position Overview:
UC Funds is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at ONE Club Gulf Shores. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards while supporting resident satisfaction, occupancy goals, and long-term asset performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience managing multifamily maintenance operations, vendor relationships, and preventative maintenance programs within a fast-paced residential environment. This position is on-site, and we are seeking local candidates or those willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is available for interested candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance operations across the community, ensuring timely completion of work orders, repairs, preventative maintenance initiatives, and unit turns to support occupancy goals.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance staff while fostering a high-performing, service-oriented culture across the property.
- Coordinate third-party vendors and contractors for repairs, capital improvement projects, and ongoing maintenance needs while monitoring budgets, inventory, and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies while responding to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of multifamily maintenance or facilities management experience.
- Strong leadership and team management experience with the ability to oversee maintenance staff and vendor relationships.
- Experience with work order management systems, including Yardi or similar property management software.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance and repairs.
- Highly organized, responsive, and solutions-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
