Position Overview
Klen Earth Products is seeking a Manufacturing Director to oversee all aspects of production operations, including compounding, filling, packaging, and warehousing. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure production efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven manufacturing leader with experience in personal care, cosmetics, or related regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic production plans to meet company growth targets.
- Oversee daily operations across compounding, filling, and packaging departments.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and environmental health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on product launches and process improvements.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and capital equipment investments.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production efficiency and operational performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety across all manufacturing teams.
- Lead training and development initiatives for production staff and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Must me fluent in English and Spanish
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in personal care, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical production strongly preferred.
- Proven success managing production teams in a GMP-compliant environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with ERP and manufacturing systems.
