What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Liability Claims Representative | Remote position at King's Insurance Staffing?
Our client, a leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Commercial Liability Claims Representative to their team. This person would be responsible for handling mid-to-complex Commercial Liability claims to include slip and falls, premise liability, and commercial auto losses from inception to close. Qualified candidates must reside in Texas, possess an active Texas Adjuster’s License with strong knowledge of Commercial Liability claims laws and statutes.
- Handle moderate to complex Commercial Liability claims from inception to close.
- Very manageable pending will range from 50 - 70 claims.
- Negotiate settlements with and attorneys.
- Ensure appropriate investigation of the underlying facts and circumstances are carried out, proper experts are retained and utilized where necessary, selection and utilization of counsel is appropriate, proper negotiation strategy is employed.
- Provides direction to legal counsel and manages litigation process.
- Attend settlement conferences on serious injury claims.
Requirements:
- 2 - 5 years of Commercial Liability and/or Bodily Injury claims adjusting experience
- Must hold an active Texas Adjuster’s License
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and handle litigations and negotiations.
Salary/Benefits:
- $75,000 - $95,000 annually depending on experience
