Our client, an "A" rated P&C Insurance Company, is looking to add a Multiline Claims Examiner to their Northwest Ohio operations. This position plays a critical part in reviewing and handling liability and bodily injury claims, ensuring accurate determinations and timely resolutions in alignment with all applicable regulations. You’ll also gain exposure to commercial risks such as business auto fleets, contractor vehicles, and trade-related operations. Qualified candidates must reside in a commutable distance client's Northwest Ohio office for training.

Responsibilities
- Examine and assess auto liability and injury files to establish coverage applicability, fault, and loss valuation.
- Oversee files from initial intake through resolution, including involvement in legal proceedings, discussions, and final agreements.
- Interpret medical documentation, incident reports, and legal records to form accurate conclusions.
- Work alongside legal representatives and industry professionals to achieve efficient and cost-conscious outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with insured parties, third-party individuals, and agency partners regarding status and developments.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records within internal systems.
- Adhere to all governing laws, compliance standards, and organizational procedures throughout the process.
Qualifications
- 1 - 4 years' experience handling personal or commercial lines auto liability claims.
- Insurance carrier experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with industry systems and standard office applications.
- Active adjuster license is preferred but not required
- High School Diploma required; Asociates or Bachelors degree is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
- Base pay ranging from $65,000 - $80,000 annually, based on background and experience, with incentive opportunities
