General Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

We are partnering with an established aerospace manufacturing company in the Corona area that is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive organizational excellence. This is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, team development, and continued business success.Position OverviewThe General Manager will oversee core business functions including planning, sales, estimating, purchasing, production, quality, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a foundation in aerospace industry standards.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with solid aerospace or precision manufacturing experience who is ready to take ownership of operations, drive KPI performance, and support long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational LeadershipImplement operational processes to support company goals and production efficiencyCollaborate with leadership on long-term planning and continuous improvement initiativesAllocate resources to support production, quality, and customer requirementsOperations ManagementOversee Planning, Sales/Estimating, Purchasing, and partner with Production & Quality teamsEnsure manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and delivery standardsSupport KPI development and maintain operational performance metricsStrengthen supply chain, vendor relationships, and cost-control effortsSafety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to all safety, environmental, and aerospace compliance requirementsMaintain readiness for audits and support AS9100 / ITAR compliance practicesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead and coach cross-functional teams, promoting accountability and teamworkFoster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellenceCommunicate effectively across all levels of the organizationBusiness Development & Customer InteractionSupport customer relationships, contract discussions, and vendor negotiationsHelp drive initiatives that support growth and customer satisfactionRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (preferred but not required for the right experience)5 years of manufacturing leadership (aerospace or precision manufacturing strongly preferred)Knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and aerospace industry standardsExperience managing KPIs, production environments, and quality-driven processesExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to motivate teams and maintain a strong, safety-first cultureAdditional RequirementsMust be a U.S. Person (required under ITAR regulations)Ability to pass a background check and drug screeningMust be able to read, write, and communicate in EnglishE-Verify participation; At-Will employerEqual Opportunity EmployersSubmit your resume for immediate consideration.
