Starting Pay: From $85,000 per yearLocation: Corona, CAEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our aerospace manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership role requiring a strategic, results-driven professional with deep industry expertise. The General Manager will be responsible for driving organizational performance, operational excellence, quality, safety, and profitable growth.Essential Functions and Responsibilities Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the company’s strategic vision, goals, and long-term initiatives.Collaborate with the leadership team to establish long-range business plans and operational objectives.Make data-driven decisions to allocate resources effectively and optimize financial performance.Provide strategic insight to support sustainable business growth and profitability.Operations ManagementOversee organizational functions including Planning, Sales, Estimating, and Purchasing, while working closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources.Demonstrate strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.Maintain and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using a problem-solving and process-optimization mindset.Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.Safety & ComplianceFoster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aerospace regulations and standards.Oversee regulatory audits and ensure organizational readiness at all times.Leadership & Team DevelopmentProvide strong leadership to management and staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development.Motivate and inspire employees through effective communication and leadership.Build and maintain positive working relationships across all organizational levels.Business DevelopmentNegotiate contracts and agreements with customers and vendors.Lead business development initiatives aligned with company growth objectives.Additional DutiesPerform other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Experience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within aerospace manufacturing.Demonstrated track record of improving operational performance and profitability.Technical CompetenciesStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supply chain operations.Comprehensive understanding of aerospace industry regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, ITAR).Experience in developing and managing KPIs and performance metrics.Leadership CompetenciesExceptional leadership and team-management capabilities.Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.Company DescriptionLocally Owned, Locally Operated.FasTemps was founded in 1997 in Ypsilanti, Michigan by Karl O and Tim H.
