Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a WiFi Release and Incident Process Engineer to support their WiFi Operations team. This role is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and optimizing the intake and release processes for new hardware, software, and firmware across a carrier-grade WiFi network environment. Summary: The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth network releases, improving process efficiency, and aligning compatibility across network systems architecture. This position requires strong technical expertise, process optimization skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, planning, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities:

This position requires strong technical expertise, process optimization skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, planning, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Review network delivery plans for hardware, software, and firmware implementations within a carrier-grade WiFi network
- Develop and/or review Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to ensure seamless network release processes
- Evaluate and optimize intake processes from engineering and planning teams
- Provide actionable feedback to improve handoff and implementation workflows
- Define intake requirements, templates, and standards for Release Management s submissions
- Establish and manage processes for rejection and correction scenarios related to release intake
- Track progress of WiFi network releases and report on performance metrics and process improvements
- Assist in prioritizing release planning to ensure proper allocation of time and resources
- Must be based in or near the Denver, CO area
- Onsite presence required at least 4 days per week
- Standard business hours with potential for holiday furloughs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5-10 years of experience in a technical engineering or operations role supporting carrier-grade WiFi networks
- 5 years of wireless networking experience
- Strong knowledge of wireless networking fundamentals (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Proficiency in wireless standards and protocols (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants)
- Solid understanding of networking technologies including bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet, and transport protocols
- Experience with WiFi network architecture, topology, and cloud/data center environments
- You are a highly motivated WiFi network engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for process optimization
- You bring a high-energy, results-driven mindset and are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient network operations and release management processes
- Wireless Access Gateways (WAG)
- AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) systems
- WiFi controllers
- Firewalls, switches, routers, and access points
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP - Wireless)
- Relevant industry or vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Arris, Ruckus)
- Direct experience operating carrier-grade WiFi networks
- Background in network engineering, planning, and design
- Experience with platforms such as VMware and Red Hat OpenShift
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Linux environments
- Experience with carrier-grade equipment from vendors such as Nokia, Cisco, Ericsson, and Ruckus
- Experience building and deploying VM-based environments within data centers
