This UX Designer role on the Product Research and Design team will work as part of the Digital On Premise Ordering product team, which includes product managers and product designers. During this assignment, the UX Designer will be responsible for:
- Quickly getting up to speed on the clients competitive analysis of Self Service Kiosks available in the quick serve (QSR) market and becoming familiar with current kiosk capabilities within the clients brands
- Mapping out the in-store ordering experience and understanding the differences between off-prem ordering and on-prem kiosk ordering
- Evaluating the usability and design quality of the current kiosk-based ordering experience and working with stakeholders in product management and product design to recommend changes, enhancements, new features
- Designing the future kiosk-based customer experience, including design mockups and/or design prototype of key ordering flows, reward redemption flows, payment flows, etc.
- Complying with the clients design system for online ordering products as needed, and extending or creating elements of the design system for in-store products
- Additional duties, as needed
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
