ServiceNow Administrator

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in North Salt Lake, UT that is in need of a CMDB Administrator to own and enhance a mature Configuration Management Database (CMDB) environment within ServiceNow. This role will focus on CMDB health, data quality, reconciliation, and governance while partnering closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the CMDB supports both operational and strategic initiatives. This is an opportunity to step into a well-established environment and help refine, optimize, and expand CMDB capabilities rather than building from scratch. Key Responsibilities:

• Own and administer the ServiceNow CMDB
• Build, maintain, and evolve CMDB health dashboards
• Manage and refine reconciliation logic
• Support the migration of a large platform into ServiceNow
• Adopt and enable new ServiceNow CMDB features and capabilities
  
  

Identify And Address Gaps In

• CI completeness
• Data accuracy
• Governance standards
  
  

Serve as the CMDB subject matter expert, including:

• CMDB Workspace
• Health metrics and KPIs
• Ongoing data quality improvements
  
  

Partner cross-functionally with:

• IT Operations
• Asset Management
• Software and development teams
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering ServiceNow CMDB
• Experience supporting a mature CMDB environment
• Ability to work across multiple technical teams and stakeholders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Strong Understanding Of

• CMDB concepts and relationships
• Health metrics and governance
• *Reconciliation processes
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
