Kforce has a client in Woburn, MA that is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a multi-state employee population of approximately 320. This role works closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate pay delivery, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do:

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

This role works closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate pay delivery, reporting, and compliance in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do:
- Manage regular payroll cycles for salaried and hourly employees across multiple states
- Prepare and process non-standard payments such as incentive pay, equity events, and leave-related adjustments
- Maintain payroll accuracy through reconciliations, audits, and required reporting
- Support employee pay changes throughout the employment lifecycle
- Produce payroll data and reports to support internal partners
- Ensure payroll practices align with applicable federal and state requirements

- 5-7 years of payroll processing experience
- Experience processing multi-state payrolls in a high-growth or dynamic environment
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulations
- Experience or exposure to equity compensation payroll (RSUs, ESPP, stock options) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams including HR and Finance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated problem-solving, research, and analysis capabilities
