Kforce has a client in Plymouth Meeting, PA that is seeking a Senior Payroll & Compliance Specialist to manage payroll operations, union reporting, and prevailing wage compliance across multiple entities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in certified payroll, union reporting, and multi-state payroll compliance. The Senior Payroll & Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Controller and report directly to executive leadership (CFO). Key Responsibilities:

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in certified payroll, union reporting, and multi-state payroll compliance. The Senior Payroll & Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Controller and report directly to executive leadership (CFO). Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for multiple entities, multiple states, including job costing and department coding
- Prepare and submit Certified Payroll Reports (CPR) for prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon projects
- Ensure compliance with CPR, LCP, MEUR, and EEO reporting requirements
- Prepare and file payroll taxes (weekly, quarterly, and annual)
- Manage union reports and benefit remittances
- Support 401(k) contributions and maintain employee census data
- Reconcile benefits enrollments and terminations
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee and payroll records
- Support on-boarding, terminations, and compliance documentation
- Prepare W-2s, ACA reporting, and year-end filings
- Review and audit weekly time sheets
- Supervise payroll staff and ensure accuracy of payroll processes
- Communicate payroll and compliance updates to leadership
- Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of payroll experience (construction or multi-entity preferred)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and deductions
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Certified Payroll (Davis-Bacon)
- Union reporting and remittances
- Professional handling of confidential information
