Kforce's client, a well-respected Suffolk County Long Island CPA firm is seeking a Senior Accountant. Summary: In this role, the Senior Accountant will participate in various engagements for small to mid-sized business entities. They will be performing various accounting and tax functions, including financial statement preparation, closings, income, payroll, sales tax return preparation review, and general business advisory services

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Requirements
- Degree in Accounting
- CPA completed or in progress is a plus
- 3-5 years of post-college public accounting experience with servicing a wide variety of small/mid-sized privately held businesses
- Car and valid driver's license essential
