Summary: This is a high-impact role stepping in to support the accounting function during a period of transition, with strong visibility to leadership and the opportunity to influence processes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple priorities, and brings a hands-on, analytical approach to accounting operations. - Oversee accounts payable workflows, including invoice approvals and payment coordination across multiple entities
- Review and validate work completed by support teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and analyze financial data, including income statements and variance analysis
- Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and recommend solutions
- Assist with journal entries and general ledger activity as needed
- Manage high-volume transaction activity across multiple business units
- Utilize large Excel-based tracking tools and dashboards to monitor workflows and priorities
- Support ongoing process improvements within accounting operations
- Experience in accounting in a fast-paced environment with excellent organization skills
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, large dataset management)
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks (or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Comfortable working across multiple entities or business units
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities
