Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP function within a dynamic corporate environment. This is a full-cycle AP role requiring both transactional execution and analytical problem-solving. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to process improvements. Essential Functions:

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP function within a dynamic corporate environment. This is a full-cycle AP role requiring both transactional execution and analytical problem-solving. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to process improvements. Essential Functions:
- Handle end-to-end AP processing, including invoice entry, coding, PO/3-way matching, and routing through approval workflows
- Manage a high-volume workload (40-50 invoices daily), ensuring items are processed accurately and on time
- Oversee a shared AP inbox, triaging requests and maintaining organized workflows from intake through resolution
- Partner with internal stakeholders to secure timely approvals and address outstanding items
- Maintain vendor master data, including onboarding documentation such as W-9s, and ensure accuracy of records
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies, payment inquiries, and invoice issues
- Research and resolve exceptions, identifying root causes for delays or rejected invoices
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, balancing, and reporting deliverables
- Leverage Excel for tracking, reporting, and data uploads to support AP operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with ad hoc analysis or special projects
- 3 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience, including full-cycle processing
- Experience working in a high-volume AP environment (150-200 invoices weekly)
- Solid understanding of invoice coding, matching processes, and AP workflows
- Exposure to reconciliations and month-end close support
- Intermediate Excel skills for tracking and reporting purposes
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- High attention to detail with a problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Effective communication skills when working cross-functionally and with external vendors
- Adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Real Estate/Yardi experience would be a huge plus
