Revit Specialist Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Revit Specialist Electrical Engineering in Tampa, FL. Overview: The Revit Specialist - Electrical will support and apply electrical BIM processes across all project phases, including schematic design, design development, permitting, and construction documents. Duties:

• Prepare and maintain electrical Revit models and drawings, ensuring coordination with all engineering disciplines
• Oversee electrical BIM workflows for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and project requirements
• Participate in BIM-related coordination meetings with engineers, designers, and project teams
• Identify and resolve clashes through multi-discipline coordination to improve design efficiency
• Maintain and enhance electrical BIM templates, families, and content to support consistency and efficiency
• Perform quality control checks to ensure models are accurate, constructable, and up to date
• Coordinate with the BIM team for background updates and model revisions
• Perform additional duties as needed to support project success
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of BIM experience within the electrical engineering industry
• Hands-on experience with Revit (required); familiarity with other architectural and engineering software is a plus
• Basic understanding of project delivery methods, including design-build, design-bid-build, and fast-track
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-based applications
• Clear and professional communication skills - verbal, written, and graphic
• Up-to-date knowledge of BIM industry trends and emerging technologies
  
  

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Travel up to 10-35% for project or client-related meetings
• Ability to work standard business hours with flexibility for evenings or weekends as project deadlines are required
• Visual acuity, including color differentiation and depth perception
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
