Summary: Our client is seeking a Linux Hardware/Software Configuration Engineer to configure, optimize, and support Linux-based computing environments used in radar and defense applications. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, operating systems, networking, and application deployment. Duties:

Summary: Our client is seeking a Linux Hardware/Software Configuration Engineer to configure, optimize, and support Linux-based computing environments used in radar and defense applications. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, operating systems, networking, and application deployment. Duties:
- Configure and optimize Linux HW/SW environments for performance, reliability, and security
- Develop and test configuration scripts, drivers, and system tools
- Support optimized computing and networking configurations
- Configure and deploy containerized applications
- Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues across the lifecycle
- Partner with software, systems, and infrastructure teams
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of Linux system configuration and integration experience
- Strong understanding of Linux internals, networking, and system performance
- Experience supporting hardware-dependent Linux environments
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Experience with containers (Docker, Podman, etc.)
- Exposure to defense, aerospace, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with GitLab, Artifactory, Bitbucket, or Jira
- Experience supporting secure or classified systems
