Java API Tech Lead

Responsibilities

Kforce is looking to hire a Java API Tech Lead for one of our end-clients in Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite contract-to-hire position. Responsibilities:

• Responsible to Lead and drive with the team with the client
• Responsible for sound and high-quality technical deliverables
• Drive the direction and roadmap for the microservices architecture
• Provide innovative solutions to complex situations and drive outcomes
• Provide technical guidance and architectural assistance around Kafka, Microservices, front end development and Mongo DB integrations
• Help the other members of the team with technical queries and guide and mentor them to develop top quality code
• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business
• Always be ready to be hands-on to develop or fix issues to deliver on time and with highest quality
• Work closely with leadership and the whole Tech team
• Work to guide team members to create test plans, and ensure the issues are properly identified, fixed and tested
• Develop incorporating the best practices
  
  

Requirements

• 9 years of Java API development using Springboot, hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience
• 5 years of front end development with Angular, React, NodeJS
• 3 years experience working as a lead and driving high quality outcomes
• Excellent working knowledge of Open Shift Container Platform and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Kafka will be a huge value add
• Experience integrating Java based applications with Mongo DB
• Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams and in an Agile environment
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
