Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking an IT Analyst - Compliance and Governance that serves as a subject matter expert supporting the organization's IT compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, supporting audits, managing remediation activities, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure IT policies, processes, and controls are effective, documented, and operationalized. Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, supporting audits, managing remediation activities, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure IT policies, processes, and controls are effective, documented, and operationalized. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for IT compliance and governance activities across the organization
- Assist with the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, SOX, privacy regulations)
- Design, implement, and monitor processes and systems for effective compliance reporting, tracking, and remediation
- Manage compliance remediation activities to ensure regulatory requirements are addressed and sustained over time
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Information Security, Internal Audit, business users, and IT colleagues, to define, develop, and document compliance-related business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications
- Support internal and external audits by coordinating evidence collection, responding to inquiries, and tracking findings and action items
- Participate in vendor and contract management activities related to IT compliance, including third-party risk and compliance requirements
- Contribute to IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning efforts, including documentation, testing coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, workflows, and control narratives related to IT compliance and governance
- Associate's degree or higher required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of overall professional experience, with extensive experience working in IT environments
- Hands-on experience with hardware and software compliance lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of IT regulations and frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, SOX, and data privacy laws; ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning experience preferred
- Working understanding of common IT system platforms and enterprise technologies
- Extensive process documentation experience is strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations and best practices

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, actionable controls and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
