Kforce client need to hire an Internal Auditor to join a growing and evolving finance team. As the Internal Auditor, you will support financial, operational, and compliance audits across the organization. This client offers salary and benefits. This position is in the Lansing, MI area and is hybrid, 3 days on site Tuesday-Thursday, 2 days remote. Key Responsibilities:

- Execute internal audits across operational, financial, and compliance areas in accordance with established audit methodologies
- Develop and perform audit testing to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential deficiencies
- Document audit work clearly, including objectives, procedures performed, and conclusions reached
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to business partners and process owners
- Apply risk-based thinking to identify opportunities to enhance controls and mitigate business risks
- Demonstrate professional skepticism by evaluating information, asking clarifying questions, and validating management responses
- Support continuous monitoring initiatives and assist with data analytics efforts
- Maintain and update audit programs as needed
- Collaborate effectively with audit team members while managing assigned work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certification, CIA,CPA, CGAP or similar
- 2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a combination of both
- Working experience with platforms SAP, or ERP systems, Power BI
- Experience conducting audits or consulting engagements across operational, financial, or IT areas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including data analysis and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
